1) Select KTM model and weight

kg only
Damping countTurn clockwise gently to fully hard / closed / 0 click. Then turn anti-clockwise and count clicks or turns out.
Preload countTurn anti-clockwise gently to fully soft / lowest preload. Then turn clockwise to increase preload.
Fine tuneIf bouncy, reduce clicks out / add rebound damping. If harsh, add clicks out / soften compression. If rear sits low, add preload.
Important KTM notes:
  • 1290 Super Adventure S is semi-active, so it is not included in this manual click calculator.
  • 1190 Adventure with EDS is electronic, so it is not included in this manual click calculator.
  • EXC / EXC-F / 690 Enduro R models have been added using the supplied factory-standard data.
  • EXC / EXC-F / 690 / 390 rear preload is shown in mm. Treat any weight change as an estimated starting point and confirm by sag.
  • EXC / EXC-F front preload: standard models are normally not externally adjustable; Six Days / selected preload-adjuster models use +0 factory setting.

Disclaimer: This calculator is based on KTM factory-standard manual baseline settings supplied for this page, including Adventure, Enduro R, EXC and EXC-F models. Rider weight adjustment is an estimated starting point only. Base rider is treated as 75kg estimated rider with riding gear. KTM off-road factory standard settings normally follow a 75โ€“85kg rider range with protective clothing, while some manuals only provide factory standard settings without exact rider weight. Final setup depends on rider preference, tyre, road/trail condition, luggage, pillion weight and suspension condition. Check sag where possible, test ride safely and consult a professional suspension technician if unsure. Use at your own risk.
