1) Select KTM model and weight
kg onlyDamping countTurn clockwise gently to fully hard / closed / 0 click. Then turn anti-clockwise and count clicks or turns out.
Preload countTurn anti-clockwise gently to fully soft / lowest preload. Then turn clockwise to increase preload.
Fine tuneIf bouncy, reduce clicks out / add rebound damping. If harsh, add clicks out / soften compression. If rear sits low, add preload.
Important KTM notes:
- 1290 Super Adventure S is semi-active, so it is not included in this manual click calculator.
- 1190 Adventure with EDS is electronic, so it is not included in this manual click calculator.
- EXC / EXC-F / 690 Enduro R models have been added using the supplied factory-standard data.
- EXC / EXC-F / 690 / 390 rear preload is shown in mm. Treat any weight change as an estimated starting point and confirm by sag.
- EXC / EXC-F front preload: standard models are normally not externally adjustable; Six Days / selected preload-adjuster models use +0 factory setting.
